Age Group
State
Please Check the news section of the website for
Warm-up times. We will be Handing out Goody bags and T-shirts on
Wednesday at practice. We would also like to take a group picture
at that time.
Championship
Meets
Championship meet info is posted online.
Please check with your childs coach to see if they are elligable
for this meet. Age Group State entry is due Thursday, July 15.
Relay only swimmers do not need to sign-up the coaches willl handle
this.
Indiana Swimming registration
requirement for 2011
Starting in the fall, Indiana swimming will
require a copy of each childs birth certificate for registration.
This means that every THT member will need to submit a copy of
their birth certificate to us this fall in order to participate.
These will be sent to Indiana swimming along with your
registration. Once this has been done, they will be shredded by
Indiana swimming. This is will only be required once for each
athlete, for their career as a USA swimmer. Athletes may begin
to bring in thier birth certificates between now the beginning on
short course season.
Bronze, Blue and Orange
Schedule change
Due to the VCSC shutting down the buildings on
Fridays and Saturdays for the remainder of the Summer, Beginning
June 28th. The following Schedule changes will be made
:
Bronze will practice - Mon., Tues., Thurs.
5:30-6:30pp
Blue and Orange will practice Tues., Wed., Thurs.
5:30-6:30pm
THT Practice for Remainder of the
Summer
THT will practice
at West Vigo starting Monday June 7th until School begins in
August. The North and South pools are closed for the summer for
maintainance. We are sorry for any inconveinence this may cause,
however the improvements to our locker rooms and air handling
system will be well worth it when we return to our pools in the
fall. Schedules are posted on the website. Please be patient our
facilities are
improved.
Registration
Just a reminder,
that all returning swimmers need to register online. It only takes
a few minutes. Go online today and sign up your
swimmer.
Swim suit
rule
The
swimsuit rules have been established for competition by USA
swimming. Please check out these regulations on the
website.
Parents
Please walk your child downstairs to the pool when you
bring them to practice, do not just drop them off and leave. This
is a “serious” safety issue. If there is a change in
the schedule that you may be unaware of or forgot about, children
may be left at the pool unattended.

Dues and
Fees
July Dues are now due. Please remit these and any past
due amounts ASAP to a coach or to Susan Powers, our team
treasurer. Remember that dues are due on the 1st of the month and are considered late after the
15th. Invoices go out on the
21st of the month and automatic payments come off on the 1st of the
month. Meet fees are due at the time of the entry
deadline. Please help out our team treasurer by staying
current with your account.
